Most people buying the best pickleball nets for driveways are solving a problem that has nothing to do with tennis. You cannot drive a ground stake into concrete or asphalt, you rarely have a straight 44 feet of flat slab, and a cheap net that skates across a sealed surface the first time a gust…

Spend your money well and the best pickleball paddles under 100 dollars in are not compromises. They are the sweet spot of the whole sport, where cold-molded raw carbon, 16mm cores and foam-injected walls first showed up in paddles that anyone could justify. I have spent the last two seasons rotating through budget options at…

Quick answer: The niupipo set is our best pickleball paddle for seniors overall: 7.6-7.8 oz per paddle, a polypropylene honeycomb core that damps vibration, a 15.5 by 7.8 inch face and a 4 5/8 inch cushioned grip. The MTEN pair is the better starter value, and the Selkirk SLK Neo is the lightest published option…

The best pickleball paddles for tennis players are elongated-shape paddles with a handle of at least 5.25 inches and a weight between 8.0 and 8.5 ounces. Reading a script while also watching focus, framing and exposure on a DSLR is the single hardest part of making talking-head video on your own. The fix is a teleprompter: a frame that hangs your camera over beam-splitter glass, reflects the words from a tablet or phone below, and lets you read while your eye…

A tablet teleprompter is a rig that puts your iPad or Android tablet face-up under a sheet of partially reflective glass angled in front of your camera lens, so you read the mirrored script while your eyes stay pointed straight down the barrel of the lens. If you film alone, this is the single biggest…

The best teleprompters for YouTube videos solve a problem most creators discover only after their first ten uploads: reading a script makes your eyes drift off the lens, and viewers notice. I have spent the last several months recording talking-head footage with each of the prompters below, on a phone, a mirrorless body and a…

If you want the short answer: the Newmowa 60 LED clip light is the best portable video light for vlogging right now, the PIXEL G1s is the one to buy if you want full colour control, and the ULANZI VL-81 is the best value buy for travel shooters. Those three cover most people reading this…
