10 PS5 Deals: Prime Big Deal Days (October 2026 Sale)

The Highwings HDMI Cable leads our list of Prime Big Deal Days PS5 deals because it unlocks everything the console is actually built to do: 4K at 120Hz, VRR and eARC, all over one certified Ultra High Speed cable. The OIVO PS5 Stand and Charging Station earns the second slot for anyone who treats the console like the centerpiece of a setup: it cools, charges two DualSense pads and stores 14 discs in one footprint. The DualSense Wireless Controller rounds out our top three as the pick that genuinely changes how PS5 games feel, thanks to haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6-7, 2026, a 48-hour sale for Prime members. These PS5 picks are worth watching during the sale, from accessories and controllers to PS5 games that reviewers have rated well.

Our Top 3 Picks for Prime Big Deal Days PS5 Deals

Prime Big Deal Days PS5 Deals Compared (October 2026)

How We Chose

We filtered Prime Big Deal Days PS5 deals by specs that matter to PS5 owners: HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, DualSense features, 4K output, and game ratings. Every pick here has at least 2200 owner reviews on Amazon with an average rating above 4.3. Data was checked on October 2026.

1. Highwings HDMI Cable: Best for 4K/120Hz Setup

Buy the Highwings HDMI Cable if your TV is HDMI 2.1-capable and you want every frame the PS5 can push. Owners running a 4K/120Hz panel get the full 48Gbps bandwidth the cable is rated for, with clean passthrough of VRR, ALLM and eARC.

If you have ever wondered whether an older HDMI cable is holding your TV back, this is the swap that ends the debate. Buyers running an LG OLED or a Samsung QLED should pair it with the port actually labeled HDMI 2.1; many TVs only mark one or two inputs that way.

Skip the Highwings if your TV is a 1080p set; any high-speed cable will look identical there. For 4K and 8K owners, this is the one accessory that decides whether the PS5 lives up to its spec sheet.

2. OIVO PS5 Stand and Charging Station: Best for Console Care

The OIVO Stand is the practical pick for owners who use the PS5 as their main hub. It charges two DualSense pads in roughly 2.5 hours, runs a 3-speed cooling fan between 3100 and 3500 RPM, and stows 14 game discs out of sight. The console sits in the cradle vertically or horizontally depending on your shelf.

The LED indicators (red while charging, green when full) remove any second-guessing about whether a controller is topped up. The extra USB ports on the back also free up the PS5’s own ports for headsets or external drives.

Good to know: the highest fan setting is audible in a quiet room, so leave it on the lower two speeds for late sessions. Anyone whose PS5 doubles as a Blu-ray player, or whose controllers are always half-empty when game night starts, will get daily use out of this stand.

3. DualSense Wireless Controller: Best for PS5 Gaming

The DualSense controller is the PS5’s signature feature, and the one piece of kit that genuinely changes how games feel. The haptic feedback replaces the generic rumble of older pads with surface-specific pulses, while adaptive triggers tighten up when you draw a bowstring or squeeze a brake lever.

Buyers pairing the white DualSense with The Last of Us Part I or God of War Ragnarok (both on this list) get the full benefit: Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studio design weapons around the trigger resistance. The multi-device Bluetooth also lets the same pad jump from PS5 to a MacBook without a dongle.

Skip it if you only play single-player campaigns without haptic-heavy moments; a DualShock 4 still works on PS5 for those older titles. For anyone playing Returnal, Astro’s Playroom or any first-party shooter, the DualSense is the single accessory that earns its price.

4. Resident Evil 4 PS5: Best for Survival Horror Fans

Resident Evil 4 for PS5 is the remake most often recommended to newcomers to the series, and it shows in the rating. Capcom rebuilt the 2005 original in the RE Engine, and the result runs in 4K with lighting that finally matches the creepy European village setting. The parrying system turns every enemy encounter into a deliberate dance.

The knife parry and merchant upgrades give the campaign real momentum, especially during boss fights where a well-upgraded blade feels earned. The attaché case, which fans have loved for twenty years, returns with a deeper customization grid.

Best for: anyone rebuilding their PS5 library from the ground up and starting with the most acclaimed remakes of the generation. Pick this over The Last of Us Part I if you want action-horror; pick TLOU if you want slow-burn survival drama.

5. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate: Best for Fighting Game Fans

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is the package deal for fighting fans: every DLC fighter, every stage and both story campaigns in one purchase. The PS5 version runs in 4K dynamic resolution with faster load times than the last-generation build, which matters when you are resetting towers.

The Kombat League ranked mode and the casual versus both feel smoother on PS5 than on PS4, with matches starting in seconds rather than minutes. For two players sharing a TV, the local versus mode still works the way it has for decades.

Good to know: the listing includes both Kombat Packs and the Aftermath expansion; some retailers sell the base game cheaper, so double-check the SKU before checkout. If your PS5 doubles as a party console, this is the right addition.

6. The Last of Us Part I: Best for Single-Player Adventure

The Last of Us Part I is the showcase piece for the DualSense controller. Every weapon click, every bowstring pull, every infected encounter sends distinct vibrations through the pad, and the adaptive triggers add real resistance when you draw a revolver or cock a bow. The PS5 rebuild also runs at a locked 4K60fps with near-instant loading.

The game feels like a tech demo for everything the PS5 can do: haptic feedback, 3D audio via compatible headphones and SSD-fast transitions. If you have never owned a previous version, this is the one to start with.

Skip it if you played the original 2013 remaster and remember every beat; the gameplay upgrades are huge, but the story has not changed. For first-time players, this is the single best PS5 single-player pickup and pairs nicely with God of War Ragnarok on a single cart.

7. PlayStation Media Remote: Best for Streaming Apps

The PlayStation Media Remote turns the PS5 into a proper streaming box. Owners who use the console for Netflix, Disney+, Spotify and YouTube get a small remote with one-tap shortcuts and a built-in IR transmitter that turns the TV on and off alongside the PS5. No more fumbling for the DualSense when the credits roll.

The 10-meter range works through walls, which matters if the PS5 sits in a closed cabinet. The remote wakes the console and jumps straight into the last-used app on most setups.

Good to know: it ships with two AA batteries included, so you can pair it the moment it arrives. Anyone who streams on the PS5 daily will use this constantly; anyone who only games on the console will leave it in a drawer. The flat, non-backlit buttons are hard to find in the dark, so a small nightlight helps.

8. God of War Ragnarok: Best for Norse Mythology Story

God of War Ragnarok continues Kratos and Atreus’s story through the Nine Realms, with combat that leans hard on the Leviathan Axe and the Blades of Chaos. The PS5 version runs at 4K with two performance modes (fidelity and performance) and pairs beautifully with the DualSense controller.

The haptic feedback on the axe throws and the resistance on the bowstring adaptive triggers make the combat feel like the controller is part of the world. The Valhalla DLC adds a roguelite-style expansion that extends the value well beyond the main campaign.

Players who want a 30-plus-hour adventure with strong combat should pick Ragnarok; players who want a slower survival drama should pick The Last of Us Part I instead. Best for: anyone who finished God of War (2018) and wants the next chapter, or anyone starting a Norse-mythology PS5 library from scratch.

9. NBA 2K26: Best for Sports Gaming

NBA 2K26 is the annual basketball sim, and the 2026 edition leans on ProPLAY technology that turns real NBA footage into on-court animations. Owners who skipped the last few entries and are coming back to the series will notice how much the player movement has improved.

The MyCAREER mode, which mixes single-player story with online Park matches, is the biggest draw for solo players. MyTEAM, the card-collecting mode, offers the deepest long-term progression if you enjoy roster building.

Good to know: the disc version includes the full base game; any extra VC (virtual currency) or MyTEAM packs come as in-game purchases. Pick NBA 2K26 for team-sports action, Gran Turismo 7 for motorsport precision.

10. Gran Turismo 7: Best for Racing Simulation

Gran Turismo 7 is the most realistic racing simulator on PS5, with over 400 cars and a deep tuning system that rewards time spent in the menus. The PS5 version loads tracks faster than the PS4 era and supports 4K at 60fps with ray-traced reflections on supported tracks.

GT Simulation mode is the single-player highlight, while Sport Mode offers online competitive racing with daily races. The car photography mode, which lets you park a classic Porsche or Lamborghini in a virtual studio, is a fan favorite.

Gran Turismo 7 rewards patience and precision; NBA 2K26 is the faster, stat-driven alternative for players who want quick sports action. Best for: anyone with a steering wheel peripheral or who enjoys sim racing more than arcade-style driving.

How to Choose PS5 Gear During Prime Big Deal Days

Console vs. Bundle: Which PS5 Format Makes Sense on Sale

The PS5 lineup during the sale typically includes the disc and digital editions of the Slim, plus the PS5 Pro at the higher end. The disc edition reads Blu-rays and physical games, which matters if you buy used discs or want to keep a collection. The digital edition is cheaper upfront but locks you into the PS Store. The PS5 Pro targets 8K-ready TVs and higher frame rates in supported games. Watch the disc-edition bundle if you want the console plus a top-rated game in one cart.

Controller and Accessory Compatibility With PS5

The DualSense is the only first-party controller worth pairing with PS5 games that use haptic feedback heavily. PS4 DualShock 4 pads still work on PS5 for backwards-compatible PS4 titles, but they cannot trigger the adaptive triggers or haptic effects. Third-party controllers work for racing or fighting games where you want a specific layout (wheel, fight stick), but they skip the PS5-specific features.

Storage and SSD Upgrades Worth the Money

Internal SSD upgrades for the PS5 require a PCIe 4.0 drive with a minimum sequential read speed of 5500 MB/s and a heatsink that fits inside Sony’s expansion slot. If your library is mostly PS5-native titles, an 1TB or 2TB upgrade pays for itself the first time you avoid deleting a game. For PS4 games, an external USB drive is the simpler choice.

Audio and Headsets: What PS5 Owners Actually Use

The PS5 supports 3D Audio via the Tempest engine with compatible headphones, including Sony’s own Pulse 3D wireless headset and most wired headphones. Owners who already own a quality pair of wired headphones can enable 3D Audio directly and skip the wireless premium. For multiplayer chat, look for headsets that connect over USB or a 3.5mm jack rather than older optical-only designs.

How to Shop PS5 Deals During the Sale

During Prime Big Deal Days, check the model number and region code on any PS5 console listing to confirm it is the correct SKU for your country. Bundle listings often differ only in the included game, so verify the title before checkout. Watch for renewed or “without stand” listings on accessories; renewed PS5 consoles are sold with a limited Amazon warranty, but accessories usually carry the standard manufacturer warranty. Buy from sellers that ship with Prime so the discount lines up with the event. Most offers need an active Prime membership (a paid plan or a free trial counts), and the best prices shift through the two-day window.

• Verify the console SKU and region before adding to cart
• Check the included game on bundle listings
• Read the warranty terms on renewed console listings
• Confirm the seller ships with Prime
• Watch the deal page every few hours; the best prices shift
